When we hear the words "commuting to/from work" our mind immediately imagines cars, trains, and subways heading from the suburbs into the city. The powerpoint slide posted here illustrates that commuting to and from work is much more than just this traditional view. In fact, the traditional suburb-to-city commute is just 14.2% of all commuting in America.
With the statistics from this presentation in hand, policy makers and political decision-makers should be able to develop more informed solutions for our future.
